Yay for semester's end!

Finally the Fall 2010 semester has officially ended.  I was fortunate enough to be able to take Wood I, which was such an amazingly fun class! Here's 2 of the 3 projects I made this semester (I wasn't able to finish the final mask project).  SAD!  Travis' main hand Rose Nasty is also incomplete, and not accurate!  I'll finish them eventually!

Tuesday??

I finally got some pictures of the spider costume I made for my friend's kid, Charlie! The pictures were taken when I was fitting him, so it's not complete (I lined and stuffed the costume with poly-fil to make the butt of the spider stick out!).  I really like how it turned out though! I wish I got pictures of him on Halloween when the costume was done.  Oh well!

BUSY

WISH I WAS THERE! Kyo sounds so good in this song.. SO AMAZING! Many Dir en Grey fans left after Dir en Grey played their set list, and they missed this once in a life time amazing performance at the L.A. show.   I missed this once in a life time performance too... but NOT because of a stupid reason like leaving a concert early!

Ugh anyways, so I have 3 tests coming up this week.  SUCKS! Hopefully it'll turn out ok!

Today is a sad day..

I'm missing the Dir en Grey tour.  The only day that I could have gone to see them was today at the Albuquerque show.  It's tragic.. I have now missed 2 Dir en Grey U.S. tours to date.  I took the photo above in L.A. at their All Visible Things tour.

Feels like a Monday

-Am I finally done with Mikan?!
-REALLY?!
-No, unfortunately not yet... lol.  Just finishing touches like her goggles, belt, and more pins/patches left (WHICH IS EXCITING!).  Got my wig in a few days ago for both Mikan and Badou.  Regrettably the latter character's wig was defective, so I will have to return it and hopefully get a new one.  I don't think I'll be able to get Badou ready for the Saboten Convention coming up in October though.  Anyways, I'm excited to finally debut/retire this costume!

On another note, I convinced my boss at the sushi restaurant I work at to let me turn Sushi Ko into a maid cafe for Halloween!  Since I'm working on my FAVORITE holiday, I thought I might as well make it fun.  Hopefully I can make the costumes in time while juggling school work and my job!

School has started, and it has been a stressful week! Hopefully everything turns out okay this semester! Still waiting on my wigs to come in, and haven't started my Badou Nails costume yet! Maybe I'll get that started on labor day weekend?! Starting my wood construction project too, and will probably post a picture of the finished project! 

I'm upset!

So, I'm trying to finish my Mikan costume up before summer starts and I will have no time, but i messed up the sleeves completely, and only realized after I had all ready sewn it onto the rest of the jumpsuit.  I am now in the process of ripping out all the seems and re-making the sleeve correctly.  I think sleeves are the worst part of making a costume! Hopefully I get it right the second time around so I can start Badou! I'm really excited for that one!

It's Sunday!

I haven't been very productive on my cosplays for the next convention I plan on attending!  So far I have only started Mikan, from Air Gear.  I hopefully will get to Badou soon though since school is starting in about a week and a half!  I want to do a photo shoot in my past cosplays eventually too.  WHEN WILL I HAVE TIME?!
